Emily Benson, MBA, PhD has a diverse range of work experience. Emily is currently serving as the Director of People Operations at Bensonwood since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Talent Acquisition Consultant from August 2021 to January 2022.

In 2017, Emily started their own consultancy, Emily Benson, PhD, where they supported numerous professionals in career transitions through group coaching and one-on-one sessions.

Emily also served as a wiseTheir Career Expert at wiseTheir since September 2020.

From 2009 to June 2021, Emily worked as an Associate Professor at Keene State College.

Before that, from 2012 to 2019, they were a Career Coach at LaunchingU LLC, where they aided college students, recent graduates, and early career professionals in transitioning into the professional world.

Emily pursued their PhD at the University of Massachusetts, specializing in an undisclosed field, from 2004 to 2011.

Early in their career, they worked as a Recruiter at Qwest from 1998 to 1999.

Emily Benson, MBA, PhD, has an extensive education history. Emily began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies from Vassar College in 1998. Emily then pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from Plymouth State University in 2003. Shortly after, in 2004, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from the same university.

Emily's pursuit of knowledge did not end there. Emily went on to join the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2011. Their doctoral studies focused on Management and Organization Studies, demonstrating their dedication to understanding these fields in-depth.

In addition to their academic achievements, Emily has also obtained two notable certifications. In 2021, they became a Certified Executive and Leadership Development Coach through The Academies for Coaching, Inc. Furthermore, in 2022, they completed the EOS Masterclass Integrator Graduate program offered by EOS Worldwide.
