Patrick J. Couillard Hale

Patrick J. Couillard Hale has diverse work experience in the field of diversity and inclusion. Patrick J. is currently serving as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Bentley University. Prior to this, they founded and became the Principal of Couillard Hale Consulting, a consulting firm focused on promoting equity and inclusion through training and educational media. Patrick J. also held the position of Director of Multicultural and Identity Programs at Babson College. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Director of Intercultural Affairs at Stonehill College and as a Residence Hall Director at Boston University. Patrick J. has also worked as an On-Site Director at the Duke University Talent Identification Program and held various roles in residential life at the University of Vermont and Indiana University Bloomington.

Patrick J. Couillard Hale obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Gender and Women's Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the period from 2003 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Education degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington from 2008 to 2010. In 2017 to 2018, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Educational Policy from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Additionally, Patrick has acquired several certifications, including Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit, and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn, and Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) from Duolingo.
