Emily McInerney has a diverse work experience in various marketing and communications roles. Emily started their career as a Pop/Rock Radio Promotions Intern at Interscope Records in 2005. Emily then worked as an overnight DJ, Production, Board-Op, Senior Street Team, and Jack of All Trades at Phoenix Media/Communications Group / 101.7 WFNX from 2004 to 2007. After that, they were a College Marketing Representative at WEA in 2006. Emily then joined Atlantic Records as an Executive Assistant - Fueled By Ramen from 2007 to 2009.
In 2010, Emily started working at Zipcar, where they held various roles including Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator in Member Marketing, and Marketing Specialist in Commerce & Community. Emily'sresponsibilities included managing cross-channel marketing communications, overseeing email and mobile communications, and executing promotional campaigns.
From 2013 to 2014, Emily worked as a Marketing Manager at CustomMade Ventures. In this role, they managed the Maker marketing program, developed CRM strategies, and established promotional email content strategies.
Emily then joined Berklee Online in 2014 as an Associate Director of Marketing, responsible for marketing strategies. Emily later became a Product Manager in 2015, overseeing product development and marketing.
Currently, Emily is the Senior Director of Enrollment Marketing at Berklee College of Music since 2016.
Emily McInerney has a Bachelor's degree in Music Industry and Business Administration, which they obtained from Northeastern University between 2002 and 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications at Emerson College from 2010 to 2012. Prior to their higher education, they attended Danvers High School from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications such as the Asana Ambassador from Asana and the Intelligent.ly Exchange Program.
