Brenda Berg serves as the President and CEO of BEST NC: Business for Educational Success and Transformation in North Carolina since December 2013 and has been an Adjunct Instructor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since December 2020, teaching a course on leadership in education and nonprofits. Previously, Brenda founded and led Scandinavian Child from 2002 to 2014 and held key leadership roles in several organizations, including Interim Development Director for Communities In Schools of Wake County and various executive positions with the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association. Brenda's consulting experience includes roles at TransTech Management, Inc. and Westat. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the same institution, alongside participation in Leadership North Carolina Class XXII.
