Ramón Blanco Duelo has a long and varied career in business. Ramón began their career in 1992 as a Trade Marketing Manager for Unilever, where they were responsible for a 1 million Euro budget and a 6 person team. Ramón then moved to Banco Central Ramón'spano in 1997 as a Subdirector General Adjunto Investment Banking. In 1999, they were the Founder and Country Manager of Self Trade Spain, managing a team of 50 people and a budget of 14 million euro. Ramón was also a Member of the Board of Self Trade France. That same year, they became the VP Investment Banking at Banco de Santander, where they collaborated on different transactions that contributed to the department budget with more than 6 million euros. In 2005, they were the Deputy CEO of Boursorama, a stock market quoted French online bank with a market cap of 1 billion. In 2012, they founded etece.com, a company that matches professionals by the hour and SMEs and private individuals that do need home or office services. In 2015, they co-founded Indexa Capital, the first Spanish "roboadvisor" and market leader. Finally, in 2014, they co-founded Bewater Funds, a private equity asset manager that provides liquidity to shareholders of great private companies. Ramón is also an investor in Autocines, Cink Coworking, Cuidum, Datos 101, Dentaltix, Gana Energía (sold), Gear Translations, MESbook, Mailtrack, Traventia, We are Knitters, Wetaca, and Zacatrus.
Ramón Blanco Duelo began their educational career in 1973 at Fray Luis de León. In 1986, they graduated from Comillas Pontifical University with a degree in Business and Law. Ramón then attended Harvard Business School, where they earned an MBA in Economics in 1997. Ramón also has ties to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, though no further information is available.
