Hazel Lee

Hazel Lee is a Senior Scientist at Beyond Meat since June 2019, where responsibilities include managing the R&D Analytical Team and designing in-house analytical research initiatives focused on the chemical and material characterization of product prototypes. Hazel collaborates with various R&D functions, including Data Science and Flavor. Prior to this role, Hazel completed a Ph.D. in Organic Geochemistry at the University of Southern California, specializing in the use of plant molecules to study climate change. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
