Yao Wang

Yao Wang is a Senior Product Designer at BigCommerce since October 2020, previously serving as a Product Designer. Prior experience includes working at NetEase from May 2017 to November 2018 as a Product Manager for YoudaoMath, a math-learning app for children, where Yao synthesized research into actionable insights, defined minimum viable products and roadmaps, and collaborated with a diverse team to successfully launch the app, accumulating 400,000 users and an NPS greater than 0. Yao also has experience as a Product Manager intern at NetEase and Alibaba Group. Yao holds a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Design from the University of Washington and two Master's degrees in Telecommunications Engineering and Information System from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, where Yao also earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
