Enrico Tatti

EMEA Business and Scientific Manager at Biolog, Inc.

Enrico Tatti has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Enrico started their career as a Teacher at Istituto Leonardo da Vinci in 2004, before transitioning to the role of Research Assistant at Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2005. Enrico continued in this role until 2006.

In 2010, Enrico joined Agriculture Agri-Food Canada as an NSERC Research Associate. During their time there, they focused on studying the effect of different agricultural managements on soil microbial populations involved in the nitrogen cycle. Enrico successfully designed, organized, and performed field sampling in difficult winter conditions.

In 2012, Enrico joined Monaghan Mushrooms as a Microbial Ecologist. In this role, they were responsible for microbial bioaugmentation during mushroom composting to increase the yield of Agaricus bisporus, as well as developing biocontrol strategies against Agaricus bisporus pathogens. Enrico also worked on the development of spent mushroom compost into a horticultural peat replacement. Enrico remained with Monaghan Mushrooms until 2014.

Enrico then transitioned to NUI Galway in 2014, where they worked as a Research Fellow until 2017. During this time, they focused on research related to their field of expertise.

In 2017, Enrico joined Westway Health as a Research Scientist. Enrico worked in this role until 2018, when they moved to Biolog Inc as EMEA Business and Scientific Manager.

Throughout their career, Enrico has showcased their expertise in research and scientific management, with a particular focus on microbial ecology and its applications.

Enrico Tatti completed their Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Biology and Genetics of Microorganisms from the Università degli Studi di Firenze between 1997 and 2004. Enrico then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Soil Microbiology from the same university, which they completed between 2007 and 2010.
