Mohammad al Faiyaz

Mohammad Al Faiyaz has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mohammad is currently employed as a Software Engineer at BitGo, starting in March 2022.

Prior to BitGo, Mohammad worked at Novisto as a Back End Developer from May 2021 to February 2022. In this role, they contributed to the development of Novisto's ESG Management Platform, primarily using Python with FastAPI.

From November 2019 to May 2021, Mohammad was a Full-stack Developer at Stack8. Mohammad worked on the SMACS web-application, focusing on the backend development. Mohammad utilized Java 11 with the Springboot framework and JavaScript/TypeScript with the Angular framework.

Before Stack8, Mohammad worked at General Motors as a Software Engineer from March 2017 to October 2019. Mohammad was part of the infotainment core-apps team, developing system applications for Android infotainment systems in GM Vehicles. Mohammad also contributed to developing testing automation tools using Python 3.7.

Prior to General Motors, Mohammad worked as a Software Engineer at Dell EMC from August 2015 to January 2017. Mohammad worked on the NetWorker backup application, focusing on feature development and functional improvements using C and C++.

Mohammad started their career at AMD as part of the Apple Software Group PEY from September 2013 to August 2014.

Mohammad also gained experience as a Quality Assurance Intern at Minoeworks in July 2013 to September 2013, where they performed various test cases and front-end development tasks.

Additionally, Mohammad worked as a Tutor at the Toronto District School Board from January 2010 to June 2010, providing academic support in math and sciences to struggling students.

Mohammad Al Faiyaz completed their Engineer's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from McMaster University, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. In 2017 and 2018, they pursued a Certificate in French Language Skills from Seneca College, specializing in French Studies. Additionally, Mohammad holds a certification in Design for Six Sigma Green Belt, although the institution and specific year of attainment are unknown.
