Kathleen O'Moore has extensive experience in the field of mental health and research. Since 2020, they have been working as a Senior Clinical Research Manager at the Black Dog Institute, leading the design, development, and evaluation of an online mental well-being mobile app and health professional portal. In 2018, they served as a Clinical Trial Manager for the iBobbly suicide prevention app, managing a national randomized controlled trial. From 2015 to 2017, Kathleen acted as the Project Manager of Stepped Care Mental Health Clinics, developing and implementing online clinics for adults and youth. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Officer at The Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression (CRUfAD) and as a Clinical Psychologist and Senior Associate at Psychelp Sydney, where they provided counseling and conducted assessments.
Kathleen O'Moore has a strong education background in psychology. Kathleen attended the University of Sydney from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Psychology and an Honours Degree in Psychology. Kathleen then pursued further education, completing a Combined Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and Masters of Science at the University of Sydney from 2010 to 2013. Afterward, in December 2013, they obtained certification as a Registered Clinical Psychologist through AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
