Paden Cast

Paden Cast is a seasoned professional in pipeline safety and integrity management with extensive experience at Black Hills Energy and SoCalGas. Currently serving as the Pipeline Safety Management System Program Manager at Black Hills Energy since October 2020, Paden Cast oversees the development and improvement of the PSMS Program, focusing on strategic planning, conformance with API RP 1173, and supporting PSMS element owners. Prior to this role, Paden Cast held various positions at SoCalGas, culminating as the High Pressure Integrity & Analysis Team Lead, where responsibilities included managing regulatory compliance for high-pressure natural gas pipelines and directing engineering project managers. Paden Cast's career also includes roles as Lead Review Engineer, Engineer II, and Associate Engineer, delivering significant contributions in energy efficiency project development and management. Paden Cast holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Irvine.
