Daniel Henry

Daniel Henry is a highly experienced professional in patent prosecution and software engineering, currently serving as Senior Director, Patent Prosecution and Patent Counsel at BlackBerry since February 2015, with previous roles including Director and Head of Patent Prosecution and Senior Patent Attorney. Prior to BlackBerry, Daniel owned Henry Patents PLLC and co-founded Peep Mobile Digital, where Daniel held the position of Chief Technology Officer. Additionally, experience includes serving as Of Counsel at Bejin VanOphem Bieneman PLC and a Partner at Honigman, Miller, Schwartz & Cohn. Daniel's career began as an Associate at Rader Fishman and Grauer, followed by roles as a Staff Engineer at DENSO and Design Engineer at Siemens Automotive. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
