Ward Young

Edward (“Ward”) Young is a Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group, where he focuses on the Strategic Capital Holdings initiative, the business that acquires minority GP stakes.

Before joining Blackstone in 2019, Mr. Young was a Principal at The Carlyle Group, where he focused on investments in the Power and Infrastructure sectors. Before joining Carlyle in 2007, he worked as an Analyst at UBS Investment Bank.

Mr. Young received an AB in History and Political Science from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude with high honors and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
