Nick Solowski has a wide range of experience in the media industry. Nick started their career at Odeon Films as a Publicity and Promotions Coordinator, where they coordinated promotional screenings and assisted with marketing. Nick then worked at Alliance Atlantis Motion Picture Distribution as a Deliveries Coordinator, responsible for creating video and audio materials and managing timely deliveries to clients.

After that, Nick joined Spafax Canada, Inc. as a Programming Manager and later became the In-Flight Entertainment Manager, managing all aspects related to in-flight entertainment for Air Canada. Nick negotiated pricing and managed a multi-million dollar budget, resulting in significant savings.

Nick then moved to Tricon Films & Television, where they held various roles, including Manager, Director, and Senior Director of International Sales & Acquisitions. Nick managed product sales for different regions and was responsible for placing hundreds of hours of content into the international marketplace.

Currently, Nick works at Blue Ant Media as the Senior Director of International Sales & Acquisitions. Nick is responsible for generating revenue through sales, pre-sales, and co-production opportunities with media platforms across various regions, with a primary focus on Canada, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Nick also collaborates with producers to develop creative and finance models with potential partners.

Additionally, Nick served as a jury member at the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival. Overall, Nick has a solid background in sales and acquisitions, as well as expertise in in-flight entertainment and marketing within the media industry.

Nick Solowski obtained a B.A. in English and Film Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University between the years 1998 and 2002. Later, they pursued a Certificate in Film Studies from Ryerson University, studying from 2002 to 2004.
