Lauren Hanson

Lauren Hanson is a seasoned researcher and user experience specialist, currently serving as a Sr. Researcher at BlueOwl, LLC since July 2020, where mixed methods research is performed to enhance user experiences through collaboration with stakeholders. With a diverse background that includes roles as a User Experience Researcher at Lauren Hanson Design and a UX Lead at Big Drop Inc, Lauren has developed comprehensive user research strategies, facilitated usability testing, and improved design processes across various projects. Previous experiences also encompass research positions at The International Legal Foundation, Data & Society Research Institute, and Harmony Institute, where Lauren managed research teams and contributed to impactful studies on social values, criminal justice, and interactive media. Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Economics from NYU and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from SUNY Geneseo.
