José Ocares

Jose Ocares has extensive experience in operations management within the seafood industry, currently serving as Gerente de Operaciones Pesca at Blumar Seafoods since 2005, with previous roles including Subgerente de Operaciones and Jefe de Plantas VIII Región. Prior to Blumar, Jose worked at SGS as Jefe Regional Zona Norte from January 2002 to September 2005 and at Corpesca/Igemar from 1990 to 2001 in various capacities including Jefe de Planta focused on quality, maintenance, and projects. Jose Ocares holds multiple degrees, including a Diplomado in Excelencia Operacional - LEAN from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, a Diplomado in Management from Universidad de Chile, an Ingeniero Civil Industrial in Gestión - Sistemas from Universidad de Antofagasta, and an Ingeniero Químico in Química from Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
