Alex Robertson is a senior front-end engineer at Bonusly. Alex has also worked as a software engineer for Condé Nast and Pitchfork, and as a developer for Uptake. At Condé Nast, Alex built and maintained a next-generation GraphQL-based content service that powered both multi-tenant user-facing websites and a content editing suite. At Pitchfork, Alex built and maintained features for a server-rendered single page application, monitored daily site performance, and triaged issues. Alex also helped transition the site from a custom Django CMS to Condé Nast's internal CMS platform, and helped transition the site to HTTPS. At Uptake, Alex built and tested reusable UI components and services using Angular that formed the core of a large web application. Alex also engineered the build, testing, and linting processes that all other teams used. As a member of the Research and Design team at Uptake, Alex also built proof of concept components that explored potential new leads into business areas.
Alex Robertson has a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from Knox College and a high school diploma from St. Charles East.
