Philip Usherwood

Philip Usherwood holds extensive experience in supply chain management, primarily with bp since 2007, where Philip currently serves as Vice President Supply Chain Solutions, overseeing a global hub for upstream supply chain activities. Previous roles at bp include Chief Procurement Officer for various regions, where Philip successfully enhanced compliance and performance across significant upstream operations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, and Iraq, while also leading teams in Basra and London. Prior to bp, Philip held the position of VP Purchasing at Sara Lee Corporation during the transition period of HanesBrands Inc and served as Programme Director at QP Group, advancing from client delivery roles within a specialized supply chain consultancy. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Plant Science from Imperial College London and a BSc Hons in Applied Plant Science from Wye College.
