Vlad Trendafilov

Vlad Trendafilov is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and payment operations across leading multinational companies. Currently serving as Principal Product Manager for Business Platforms and Payments at bp since October 2023, Vlad previously held key positions including Head of Operations for Payments at TrueLayer, and Head of Monetisation and Payments Operations at WhatsApp, where leadership of global teams resulted in the successful launch of payment systems in India and Brazil. At Sony, Vlad managed Global Payment Operations and improved PlayStation's core payments KPIs, while at Amazon, leadership spanned Consumer and Business Payment teams across Europe, driving enhancements in payment experiences and fraud management. Vlad's career also includes strategic roles at Shell Oil Company, with a focus on operational excellence and customer service strategies. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Strategic Quality Management and a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Portsmouth, complemented by additional studies at City University of Seattle.
