Gary Gaumer

Gary Gaumer is a Senior Research Fellow at Brandeis University since January 2008, involved in teaching and funded research on international health systems and policy. Previously, Gaumer served as a Senior Fellow at Pathfinder International, focusing on improving program value and researching contraception costs from 2014 to 2020. Gaumer held the position of Professor Emeritus at Simmons College, teaching Economics and Health Economics in various MBA programs from 2004 to 2008, and was a Program VP for Health Care at Abt Associates from 1977 to 2004, overseeing health services researchers. Gaumer earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Northern Illinois University and a BS in Economics from Bradley University.
