Alyssa Galloway is a seasoned professional in patient advocacy with extensive experience in leading initiatives within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Director of Patient Advocacy at BridgeBio since November 2022, Galloway previously held roles at Astellas Gene Therapies, where responsibilities included overseeing global patient advocacy efforts and managing patient engagement strategies. Prior to that, Galloway was the North American Patient Advocacy Lead at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., contributing to patient engagement strategies and government affairs. Galloway's career also includes advocacy roles with the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, where impactful legislative campaigns were developed. Galloway holds an M.A. in International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a B.A. in European Studies from UCLA.
