James Bertrand

James Bertrand is an experienced English educator currently teaching at The British School Al Khubairat since August 2022, where responsibilities include instructing GCSE and A-Level English, overseeing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award program, and leading various educational initiatives. Previously, James Bertrand taught English at the International School of Choueifat from August 2018 to July 2022 for Grades 8-11 and served as an AP English Teacher for Grades 11 and 12. From May 2014 to July 2018, James Bertrand was an educator at Westering High School, focusing on English Home Language and Life Orientation for students in Grades 8-12, while also serving on the School Governing Body. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations and English Literature, along with a PGCE from Rhodes University.
