William Cruz

William Cruz is an experienced IT Specialist with a focus on network operations and technical services, currently employed by the Broadcasting Board of Governors since May 2018. Previous roles include Technical Services Engineer at VT iDirect, where expertise in satellite communications and high throughput satellite networks was developed, and Network Operations Center Engineer at MidAtlantic Broadband, supporting digital television networks and managing multicast routing and switching. William has also worked as a Network Operations Center Technician at GTT, troubleshooting global IP networks, and as a Wireless Engineer with Mine Site Technologies, specializing in wireless network design for autonomous mining. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from the College of Southern Maryland.
