Buyun Jing

Buyun Jing's work experience includes their current role as Director of Engineering at Broan, starting in June 2019. Prior to that, they worked at United Technologies Research Center from 2004 to 2019. During their time there, they held various roles, including Project Manager, Senior Engineer, and Research Engineer. Buyun primarily focused on HVAC and new energy-related research projects, specializing in dynamic/steady state modeling, analysis, design, and optimization for various systems such as HVAC, SOFC, ORC, MicroTurbine, and CHP systems. Buyun also collaborated with local partners and provided marketing support for fuel cell and new energy products in China.

Buyun Jing has a Bachelor's Degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician, which they obtained from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Buyun then pursued a Master of Science degree in Refrigeration and HVAC, also at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, from 2001 to 2004. Later, they completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2006 to 2009.
