Jarrel Doorn

Jarrel Doorn is an experienced science educator currently teaching at New Visions Charter High School for The Humanities, Brooklyn Laboratory Charter School, and Invictus Preparatory Charter School since 2013, 2018, and 2019, respectively. Responsibilities include aligning lessons to Common Core and New York State Standards, creating differentiated and hands-on learning experiences, and implementing STEM activities. Jarrel also coordinates school science fairs. Prior experience includes roles as a Teacher Assistant at Wheaton College and a research position at Texas Christian University. Jarrel holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Brooklyn College and a Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College.
