Marin Destison has a diverse background in design and user experience. They started their career as an Auxiliaire de cours at Université de Montréal in 2012. They then worked as a Design UI / UX Consultant for Société des arts technologiques from July 2013 to October 2013.
Marin joined studio Multiple as an Industrial Designer in April 2014, where they focused on tasks such as architecture modeling, furniture and interior design, and signage design. However, their stint at studio Multiple was relatively short, ending in August 2014.
In 2015, Marin began working at Continuum as a Strategic Designer Intern, primarily involved in branding ideation, development, and communication for the "SLICE of innovation" event. They also contributed to user research projects for the Illy brand.
During the same period, Marin joined Valtech Canada as a Customer Experience/UX Designer. They worked on various projects for clients such as ALDO Group, Belron Canada, Decathlon, Holt FormFintech, National Bank, Radio-Canada, TATA Communications, and Yellow Pages. In 2018, Marin moved to Element AI as a Design Researcher, focusing on the strategy and product development of new artificial intelligence products for the retail and supply chain industries. They conducted user interviews, on-field and secondary research, as well as design sprint activities.
Most recently, Marin is working at BRP as a Lead CX & Service Designer in the Innovation Lab. They have been instrumental in setting up the service design and design research processes, using the Design Sprint methodology to validate opportunities quickly and gather user insights for new business opportunities.

Marin Destison earned a Master's degree in Business Design from Domus Academy in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Université de Montréal between 2009 and 2013. In 2012, they also completed a Bachelor's program in Industrial Design at Burg Giebichenstein - Hochschule für Kunst und Design Halle. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Master in Business Design from Domus Academy.
