Markus Nedreaas Oliversen

Markus Nedreaas Oliversen has a strong background in IT and cybersecurity. Markus started their career as an Apprentice at EVRY Norge, where they provided firstline and second-line support for SMB customers. Markus also acted as a team leader and was responsible for handling customer cases and improving overall service. After completing their apprenticeship and obtaining their certificate, Markus joined EVRY Group as an IT Consultant. In this role, they provided second-line support for SMB customers, served as a team leader for dedicated customers, and gained experience with various systems and applications. Markus then moved on to TietoEVRY, where they worked as a Major Incident Manager. Markus was responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting servers, applications, and networks, as well as coordinating high-priority cases for all customers. Markus served as a single point of contact for stakeholders 24/7. Markus further enhanced their skills as a Cyber Security Engineer at Sopra Steria, where they conducted penetration testing and incident response for a large portfolio of customers. Markus gained experience in web pentesting, network pentesting, vulnerability scanning, and infrastructure pentesting. Currently, Markus is a Senior Technical Specialist at Tietoevry, leveraging their expertise in the field of IT security. Additionally, they have worked as a Security Researcher at Bugcrowd, where they focused on security research.

Markus Nedreaas Oliversen attended Gand videregående skole from 2014 to 2015, where they pursued IKT-driftsfag (IT Operations). Markus obtained a certification in MTA - Windows Server Administration Fundamentals in October 2016. In March 2021, they earned another certification, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals. In May 2021, they obtained the eJPT certification from eLearnSecurity. Markus recently obtained the eWPT certification from eLearnSecurity in February 2022. Markus also achieved the Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in May 2022.
