Dan Carroll

Dan Carroll, CPCU, CRIS, is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting, relationship management, and strategic leadership. Currently serving as Director of Large Accounts and Products at Builders Mutual Insurance Company since March 2022, Dan leads a large market account underwriting team, oversees long-term planning, and manages profit and loss across the company’s footprint. Prior to this role, Dan held various positions at Nationwide from June 2005 to March 2022, including Middle Market Construction Territory Manager, where a focus was placed on managing complex construction accounts in North and South Carolina, and CL Middle Market Manager, responsible for team development and growth in the middle market segment. Earlier career experiences include roles at The Hartford and RSA, where skills in underwriting, actuarial analysis, and product management were honed. Dan holds a BS in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Risk and Insurance from Appalachian State University.
