Michael Kohagen has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Michael started their career as an Advertising Account Executive at Iowa State Daily in 2003. Michael then worked as an Advertising Salesperson for The Olathe News from 2004 to 2006, and later transitioned into the role of Circulation Manager until 2009.
In 2010, Kohagen joined Splash and Go Express Car Wash as a Site Manager, where they were responsible for operating and managing a new car wash facility. Later that year, they joined Gannett as a Single Copy Sales Analyst, analyzing market trends and adjusting sales strategies to maximize revenue. Michael then moved on to become an Audience Analyst, collecting and analyzing data to identify market groups and increase audience engagement.
Kohagen joined Businessolver in 2014 and held multiple roles over the years. Michael started as an Analyst, then became an Analyst Lead in 2016, and finally served as a Client Operations Lead from 2017 to 2019. In June 2019, they were promoted to the position of Client Operations Team Lead, their current role at Businessolver.
Michael Kohagen attended Iowa State University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising with a minor in Design Studies.
