Anessa Allen Santos, JD, is an experienced attorney with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Anessa is currently working as Of Counsel at Cogent Law Group LLP since February 2023. In 2008, they founded their own law firm, IntelliLaw, where they continue to serve as the Founding Attorney. Anessa has also served as General Counsel for Byte Federal, Inc, a financial services company specializing in cryptocurrency to fiat conversion services. Anessa provided guidance and vision as a Director on the Board of BF. Additionally, they have held the position of General Counsel for Buffalo Pacific LLC, and worked as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Florida A&M University. In their previous roles, they were the General Counsel and COO for ReddTrust LLC, General Counsel for Destiny Conferencing LLC, and a Law Firm Partner at Clark Law Office. Anessa began their legal career as an Assistant Public Defender at the Office of the Public Defender, 20th Judicial Circuit. Prior to that, they worked as the Administrator of Legal and Business Affairs and provided technical support at Telesuite Corporation. Anessa's work experience showcases their expertise in various areas of law, including criminal defense, corporate governance, and legal education.

Anessa Allen Santos, JD completed their education at various prestigious institutions. In 1993, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from Wright State University. Anessa then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in International Law and Legal Studies from the University of Dayton School of Law, which they completed in 2002. To further enhance their knowledge and skills in blockchain strategies and fintech, Anessa attended Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford from 2018 to 2019, where they participated in the Blockchain Strategies and Fintech program. Additionally, they obtained several certifications from Saïd Business School, including the Oxford Fintech Lab, Oxford Fintech Programme, and Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme in 2018 and 2019.
