Al-Abbass al-Habashneh

Al-Abbass Al-Habashneh is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong academic background in electrical, electronics, and communications engineering. Currently serving as a Sessional Lecturer at Memorial University of Newfoundland since January 2023 and a Project Engineer at C-CORE since December 2018, Al-Abbass has also held roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Memorial University and various positions including Engineering Technologist, Lab Instructor, Teaching Assistant, and Research Lab Coordinator over an extensive tenure at the same institution. Al-Abbass's leadership experience includes serving as President and Vice President Academic of the Graduate Students' Union. Educational credentials include a PhD in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Memorial University, as well as a Bachelor's of Engineering in Electrical Engineering/Communication from Mutah University.
