Shawn Holder

Shawn Holder has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Shawn is currently the Director of Technical Operations (FTTH) at Cable Bahamas Ltd. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Cable & Wireless Communications, including Director of Fixed Network Maintenance, Northern Cluster, Director of Technology Operations, and Manager - FTTx and In-Home Delivery Engineering. Before joining Cable & Wireless Communications, they worked at Columbus Barbados as the Manager - Network Services and Senior Network Engineer. Shawn also worked as an IP Engineer at Digicel Group and as a Network Engineer at TeleBarbados Inc. Additionally, they have experience as a Web Architect at Caribyte Inc and as a Web Developer and Tutor/Lab Demonstrator (E-Commerce) at UWI - Cave Hill Campus.

Shawn Holder holds a Master of Science degree in Project Management from The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, Shawn has obtained several certifications including Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) in 2015 and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) in 2011. Shawn also holds certifications from Calix, Ericsson, and Coriant, Inc.
