Holly Quan is an accomplished communications specialist and book author with extensive experience in writing and media relations. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist for the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers since January 2017, Holly supports the upstream petroleum industry through research-based reports and media strategies. As a freelance writer since July 1988, Holly has developed diverse materials, including marketing collateral and technical documents. Past roles include Writing Specialist and Communications Analyst at Nexen Energy ULC, where Holly focused on employee communications and stakeholder engagement, and contract writing for Suncor Energy, contributing to award-winning projects. Holly's debut novel, *The Sow's Ear Cafe*, explores themes of transformation set against the backdrop of southwestern Alberta.
