Sara Hobbs

Sara Hobbs, CHRP, serves as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner at the Canadian Commercial Corporation since June 2023. Previously, Sara worked at the Taggart Group of Companies from July 2018 to January 2023, where responsibilities included leading HR initiatives, full-cycle recruitment, performance management, and collaborating with senior leadership on HR strategies. Prior experience includes roles as a Human Resources Coordinator at Taggart Group and a Human Resources Generalist at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, where Sara managed recruitment processes and provided employee relations support. Early in the career, Sara functioned as an Executive Assistant to the President & CEO of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. Academic credentials include a Management Certificate in Human Resources from Sprott School of Business at Carleton University and a degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Herzing College.
