David Turner

David Turner is the Director of Communications & Marketing at Canadian Lutheran World Relief. David has over 8 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on communications and donor relations. Prior to joining CLWR, David worked as the Communications Coordinator for Mennonite Central Committee, where they oversaw all aspects of MCC's communications, including website management, media relations, and social media. David also worked as the Assistant Manager at LifeWay Christian Resources, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the store and supervised a team of employees. David began their career in the nonprofit sector with African Children's Choir, where they managed a team of tour leaders and coordinated all aspects of the choir's performances, travel, and logistics.

David Turner is a university professor at The University of Winnipeg.

David Turner reports to Karin Achtelstetter, Executive Director. They are on a team with Maxine Kashton - Director of Operations/COO, Lisa Breton-Kletke - Senior Director, Finance & Operations, and Jennifer Ardon - Refugee Resettlement Manager.
