Warren Cardinal-McTeague is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor at The University of British Columbia since July 2022. Warren possesses extensive experience in research, holding the position of Research Associate at the Canadian Museum of Nature since September 2020 and formerly serving as a Research Scientist at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada from November 2020 to June 2022. Warren's early career includes being an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institut de recherche en biologie végétale and a Graduate Researcher at the Canadian Museum of Nature. Additionally, Warren was a Smithsonian Institution Predoctoral Fellow at the National Museum Of Natural History. Warren earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biology from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology from the University of Alberta.
