Philipp Ratz

Philipp Ratz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Philipp worked as the Head of Engineering at cap-on since March 2022, where they designed and built a cloud-based stack for asset management, financials, and IoT analytics. Philipp also led a team in continuously monitoring and developing the stack to meet the company's growing needs. Prior to that, Philipp was a ML & NLP Engineer at Trustami GmbH from September 2021 to March 2022, where they built and improved language models and services for e-commerce. Philipp also worked on their Master's Thesis and served as a Student NLP Engineer from August 2020 to August 2021 at Trustami GmbH. Before that, Philipp gained experience at SoftConEx GmbH, where they interned as a Software & Data Engineering Intern from March 2019 to June 2019 and worked as a Working Student in Software Development & Data Engineering from June 2018 to March 2019. Philipp was responsible for implementing flight data cache management tools and designing algorithms for travel booking suggestions. Philipp's work experience also includes an internship in Enterprise Architecture Management at Daimler AG from March 2016 to September 2016.

Philipp Ratz has a Bachelor of Science degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). In 2018, they pursued a Master's degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen mit Vertiefung Informations- und Kommunikationssysteme at Technische Universität Berlin, which they completed in 2020. In 2019, they briefly attended Georgia Institute of Technology to study Industrial & Systems Engineering.
