Carrie Rosingana

Carrie Rosingana has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Carrie started their career as a Property Manager at DTN Management, where they demonstrated strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities. Following that, they worked as an Educator at EC3 - Educational Child Care Center, where they planned and implemented curriculum for a multi-age classroom and facilitated learning for child development college students. Carrie then transitioned to a role as an Employment Specialist at Peckham, Inc., where they provided vocational training and assistance to welfare recipients and low-wage employees.

Carrie's extensive experience in workforce programs began at Capital Area Michigan Works!, where they held various roles over the years. Carrie served as the Quality Assurance Officer, responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance for workforce programs. Carrie later became the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the monitoring, reporting, and compliance of federal and state workforce programs. In their most recent role as the Chief Executive Officer at Capital Area Michigan Works!, they were responsible for all federal and state workforce programs, ensuring DE&I practices and compliance with EEO regulations.

Carrie Rosingana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Community Service from Michigan State University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including a Certified Local Labor Market Information User certification from the State of Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget in August 2018. Carrie has also completed the Diversity Leadership Academy by 2B Inclusive LLC, as well as Equal Opportunity Training by the Michigan Works! Association. Carrie has also received training in Essential Dynamics of Public Speaking from National Seminars Training and Health Equity and Social Justice from the Ingham County Health Department. Furthermore, they have attained certifications in Global Career Development Facilitator, Leadership and Management Skills for Women from National Seminars Training, Mental Health First Aid USA Certified from the National Council for Behavioral Health, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention from the Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc.
