Nqpa™ Ryan McCleary

Ryan McCleary has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2015, they started their career as a Sales Associate at Neuse Sport Shop Inc., where they worked until 2018. In 2018, they joined B&M Roofing Contractors as a Field Estimator, and later in 2019, they transitioned to the role of Metal Fabricator at the same company. In 2020, Ryan interned as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual. Currently, they are serving as an Associate in the Nonqualified Executive Benefits division at CAPTRUST, starting in 2022.

Ryan McCleary, NQPA™, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance from East Carolina University. Ryan attended East Carolina University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Building Construction Technology from Pitt Community College, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Ryan McCleary has obtained several certifications. These include the Nonqualified Plan Advisor (NQPA™) certification from the National Association of Plan Advisors, which they received in December 2022. Ryan also holds certifications as an Insurance Producer for Accident & Health or Sickness and Life from the North Carolina Department of Insurance, both obtained in June 2020. Additionally, Ryan McCleary has received the Emerging Leaders Certification from the Truist Leadership Institute in 2021.
