Reza Ramezan, Ph.D. has a wealth of experience in the field of technology. Reza began their career in 1999 as the Director of the Data Processing Department at Post Co. In 2006, they founded Sabzfaam IT Co., where they served as the CTO. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Network Consultant at AT&T. Following this, they held the role of Senior Network Security Consultant at TELUS Security Solutions from 2012 to 2015. During this time, they also worked as a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Huawei as a Research Scientist (Lead). In 2022, they will become the Senior Blockchain Educator and Researcher (Lead) at Cardano Foundation, as well as the Founder and CTO of Blocklychain.
Reza Ramezan, Ph.D. has an extensive educational background. Reza obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The University of British Columbia. Prior to that, they obtained a M.Sc. in Machine Intelligence and Robotics from Iran University of Science and Technology. Reza also obtained a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia. Additionally, they obtained a M.Sc. from Industrial Management Institute in 2009 in Information Technology Management. Reza also holds several certifications from Cisco, including CCIE R&S (written exam) obtained in 2013, as well as CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP, and CCNP Security (Firewall,VPN). Reza also holds an ITIL foundation v3.0 certification from EXIN.
