Amanda Derose

Amanda DeRose is an experienced professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Student Engagement at Carroll Community College since August 2013. In this role, Amanda directs the Honors Programs, designing marketing strategies and creating an admissions plan for prospective students. Previously, Amanda worked as the Coordinator of Student Activities and Leadership, where responsibilities included advising the Campus Activities Board and coordinating the Leadership Challenge Program to enhance student involvement. Prior experience includes editing roles at Lighted Corners literary magazine and Advanced Technical and Educational Consultants, Inc. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Messiah University, a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature with a minor in Creative Writing from Mount St. Mary's University, and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Carroll Community College.
