Micah Decker has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as Office Manager at the Newberry Opera House from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, they took on the role of PR/Marketing & Donor Relationships Manager, where they managed all marketing and sales campaigns for the Newberry Opera House. Micah was also responsible for development and execution of marketing strategies, budgeting, promotions, media buying (traditional and digital), analysis, and brand recognition. In 2014, they became a Notary Public for the State of South Carolina. In 2018, they joined the Central Carolina Community Foundation as a Midlands Gives 101 Panel Member. In 2019, they became Chief Operating Officer at EMILY Revolutionary Marketing Group. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Director of Marketing Communications at the University of South Carolina School of Music, and in 2022 they were named VP of Marketing for the Capital City Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board.
Micah Decker attended the University of South Carolina from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Media Arts. Prior to that, they attended Chapin High School from 2002 to 2006. In April 2020, Micah obtained both a Google Ads Display Certification and a Google Ads Search Certification from Google.
