Breanna Sharer

Breanna Sharer is a Health Policy Research Associate at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities since September 2020, with a background that includes roles in various organizations focusing on public health and policy. Prior experience includes serving as a Wholesale Coordinator at South Beach Group Hotels, where Breanna ensured contract compliance and created production reports. As a Student Researcher at the Lower East Side Harm Reduction Center, Breanna conducted research on harm reduction and stigma. Additional experience encompasses working as a Graduate Student Intern at the International Rescue Committee, a co-author and strategic planner for Orange County's Master Aging Plan, a Biomedical Research Assistant at the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research, and an intern with The California Endowment. Breanna holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
