James Daniels

James Daniels, MBA, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. James started their career in the United States Air Force, where they served as an Expeditionary IT/Telecommunications Deployment Manager. In this role, they managed logistics, personnel readiness, training, and quality control for mobile-deployable communications teams.

After leaving the military, James worked at Consolidated Technologies, where they served as a Senior Project Manager and later as an Installation Service Delivery Manager. James oversaw the installation of enterprise telecommunication and IT solutions for large and mid-sized businesses, managed customer relationships, and assembled project teams.

Following their time at Consolidated Technologies, James joined Epicor Software Corp as a Principal Consultant. Here, they led global teams responsible for the analysis, development, quality control, and implementation of custom software solutions for Tier 1 retail clients.

James then moved to the Project Management Institute - Hudson Valley Chapter, where they served as the Vice President of Communications. In this role, they developed marketing plans, corporate relationships, and communication programs to enhance community relations.

Next, James joined Nuvance Health as a Senior Project Manager, Program Manager, and ultimately as the Director of IT Project Management. James led the build-out and evolution of the IT PMO and Project Delivery teams, fostered a culture of transparency and partnership, and ensured high-quality deliveries aligned with business success.

Currently, James is working at Central Hudson as the Senior Director - Technology Strategy & Governance. James is responsible for overseeing business-area relationship management, strategic portfolio planning, technology program and project execution, project management processes, vendor sourcing, and technology compliance.
