Courtney Smith

Courtney Smith, MS, CIH, CSP, currently serves as Activity Manager of D4 End States Operations and OS&IH Program Manager at Central Plateau Cleanup Company since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Industrial Hygiene and Safety Manager and Industrial Hygienist at VNS Federal Services, and as an Industrial Hygienist and Technician at Washington River Protection Solutions. Responsibilities have encompassed fulfilling Industrial Hygiene duties at the Hanford site, conducting exposure assessments, and evaluating chemical safety. Earlier experiences include research roles at UTHSCSA and Southwest Research Institute, as well as internships at the U.S. Department of Energy and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Education includes a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene from Montana Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Washington State University.
