Oscar Villarreal Escamilla, Ph.D. has a wealth of experience in data science, AI, and teaching. Oscar began their career in 2011 as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2012, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio, teaching Engineering Physics I Lab, Algebra-based Physics I Lab, and Physics for Scientists and Engineers I Lab. Oscar Villarreal Escamilla, Ph.D. obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2016, following their Master of Science (M.S.) in Physics from the same institution in 2015. Oscar received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering Physics from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2012. Oscar also completed the International Baccalaureate in Physics in 2007. In 2021, they obtained certifications in Time Series and Advanced SQL from Kaggle and is in the process of obtaining certifications in Machine Learning Toolbox from DataCamp and Introduction to R for Data Science from edX.
