Jorge del Valle Urzáiz

Jorge del Valle Urzáiz is an experienced legal professional and educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at ESSCA, teaching courses on doing business in Hispanic countries since September 2023. With a long-standing role as Partner Legal at Certus since November 2014, Jorge provides legal advisory services to companies and high-net-worth individuals while managing civil, social, and contentious legal proceedings. Concurrently, Jorge holds a position as a Professor of Law at ESIC Business & Marketing School and serves as Secretary of the Board of the Asociación Club de Empresas Innovadoras Euronova, both since June 2020. Previous roles include being an Associate/Manager at EY Abogados, Legal Counsel at ASPRO OCIO, Legal Specialist at Tyco Fire & Security, and a lawyer at Bayer and KPMG. Jorge holds a Master in Legal Consultancy from IE Business School, a specialized course in Insolvency Law from the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Málaga, and law degrees from the University of Kent and Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
