Diyani Perera

Diyani Perera has a diverse work experience starting from their role as an English Copywriter and Conceptualiser at 5th Elephant (Pvt) Ltd from August 2008 to September 2012. Diyani then worked as a Freelance writer from December 2013 to February 2015. In March 2015, Diyani joined Spirit & Soul as an English Copywriter for a short period of four months. From October 2017 to November 2019, they worked as a Content Writer at Durdans Hospital. Following this, Diyani worked as a Freelance Writer from October 2019 to August 2020. In September 2020, they joined Durdans Hospital again, this time as a Content Writer. Diyani's most recent role is as a Communications Coordinator at Dilmah Tea, starting from January 2021.

Diyani Perera has pursued their education in various institutions. Diyani attended Lyceum International for an unspecified period of time. Diyani also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English and English Language Teaching from the Open University of Sri Lanka. Diyani is currently enrolled in the Open University Nawala and is working towards a BA in English and ELT. In addition to their formal education, Diyani has obtained several certifications. Diyani completed the "Teaching Character and Creating Positive Classrooms" course from Coursera in January 2015. In July 2013, they completed the "Writing II: Rhetorical Composing" course, also from Coursera. Diyani has further expanded their knowledge by completing the "Content Strategy for Professionals 1: Engaging Audiences for Your Organization" course from Coursera Verified Certificates in May 2015. Most recently, in November 2022, they obtained the "SEO: Keyword Strategy" certification from LinkedIn.
