Robert Bauman

Robert Bauman is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer and Group Leader at CFD Research Corporation since September 2020. Prior to this role, Robert worked at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) from February 2012 to September 2020 as an Aerodynamicist, focusing on high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics simulations involving steady-state missile aerodynamics, combustion instability, ramjet design, and stage separation. Robert's career began at Northrop Grumman as a Data Analyst from June 2008 to August 2010. Robert holds a Master's degree in Fluid Dynamics from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2016-2018), a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2009-2011), and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College (2006-2011).
