Alan Dreanic is an experienced international development professional currently serving as the Deputy General-Director at CFI, the French media development agency, since January 2019. Previously, Alan held the position of Director of the Democratic Governance and Human Rights Department at Expertise France from 2015 to 2018, and served as a part-time UNHCR Judge-Assessor at the French National Court for Asylum Right during the same period. Alan also directed operations and development at France Expertise Internationale from 2008 to 2014 and worked as a Programme Manager at the European Commission's EuropeAid from 2004 to 2008, managing various human rights and governance projects. Additionally, Alan was the Permanent Delegate to the EU for the International Federation for Human Rights between 2002 and 2004. Educational qualifications include a European Master's Degree from the College of Europe and a Master’s Degree in European Political Sciences from the Institute for European Studies at ULB.
